Signals and Strategies FAQ
Common questions about Alphio's paid Signal products and how they relate to Agentic Trading and Auto Trade.
Why don't I see SwingMax / CoinSwing / DayTrading / AI Stock Picker / Crypto Radar / Quant AI Alpha Pick in my account? Each Signal product is a separately entitled subscription, not part of the base tier.
- Open Settings → Subscription and check which Signal products are listed as active.
- Some products require a specific tier floor (e.g. Pro or Elite) before they can even be purchased.
- Region restrictions apply to certain US stock signals — your account region must be eligible.
- After purchase, the product appears under
/signalswithin a few minutes. Hard-refresh if it doesn't show.
How accurate are signals historically? Each Signal product page exposes its own published track record (win rate, average return, drawdown). There is no single "Alphio signal accuracy" number — accuracy varies materially by product, market regime, and timeframe.
Historical performance is not predictive. Track records published on the product page are for transparency, not a guarantee. Position sizing and risk control are still your responsibility.
What's the difference between Signals and Agentic Trading? They solve different problems:
- Signals are curated entry / exit alerts produced by Alphio's quant / research stack. You decide whether to act on each one.
- Agentic Trading is goal-driven — you describe an objective in plain language and Alphio AI researches, plans, and (after approval) executes trades to meet it.
- Auto Trade sits between the two: you configure explicit rules (triggers, sizing, stop-loss) and Alphio executes them programmatically.
A signal can be the input to an Auto Trade rule or an Agentic Trading goal, but the three surfaces are independent.
Can I auto-execute every signal as it appears? Yes — wire the Signal product into an Auto Trade rule:
- Open the Signal product page.
- Click Auto-execute (where available) and confirm the rule scope: per-signal sizing, max position, stop-loss.
- Auto Trade will fire on each new signal that matches the rule's filters.
Not every Signal product supports auto-execute on every rail — some equity signals require a connected broker, crypto signals require Hyperliquid or a connected wallet.
Why was a signal cancelled mid-day? Signals can be revoked by the publishing model when conditions change before they are filled. Common reasons:
- The entry price was no longer reachable within the signal's validity window.
- A market event invalidated the thesis (earnings, halt, broad-market shock).
- The model's confidence dropped below the publish threshold on re-evaluation.
Cancelled signals are kept in the history with a "cancelled" status and reason text.
I subscribed but signals aren't showing — what's wrong? Work through this in order:
- Confirm the subscription is active under Settings → Subscription (not pending payment, not expired).
- Confirm the product page is not filtered — many lists default to "active only" and hide cancelled / closed signals.
- Some Signal products only publish during specific market hours; outside the window, you'll see an empty list with the next publish time.
- If subscription is active and the window is open but the list is still empty after a hard refresh, contact support with the product name and your account email.
Are signals time-sensitive — when should I act? Yes. Every signal has an explicit validity window shown on the card:
- DayTrading Signal — intraday, often valid for minutes to a few hours.
- SwingMax Signal / CoinSwing Signal — swing horizon, valid for hours to a few days.
- AI Stock Picker / Quant AI Alpha Pick — daily / longer rebalance, valid until the next publish.
- Crypto Radar — opportunity scan, validity varies by asset.
Acting outside the window means the price levels may no longer hold. Late entries are not a defect of the signal; check the validity badge before placing the order.
If you need information not on this page, you can query the docs dynamically by sending a GET request with the ask query parameter:
