AI Screener

Describe what stocks you want in plain English; Alphio AI builds a screener and returns the matches — no filter UI to fight with.

1. How to use​

The interaction is conversational. Open the AI Screener entry and type a free-form prompt that describes the universe you want.

Examples:

  • "Low-PE tech with growing revenue over the last 4 quarters."
  • "Small-caps with insider buying in the last 30 days."
  • "US dividend payers with payout ratio under 60% and 5-year dividend CAGR above 8%."
  • "Crypto names with active developer commits in the last 14 days and rising on-chain TVL."
  • "Companies missing earnings two quarters in a row but with positive forward EPS revisions."

Alphio AI parses the prompt into a structured request, runs the screen against the universe, and returns a ranked list with the matching criteria spelled out. You can iterate by replying ("only US-listed", "exclude REITs", "sort by 1-month momentum") and the list re-runs.

2. Themes​

Below the prompt box, Alphio surfaces a set of pre-built Themes — curated screener templates you can run with one click.

  • Categories. Themes are grouped by category (e.g. Quality, Momentum, Income, AI / Tech, Macro Hedges).
  • One-click run. Tapping a theme runs the underlying prompt and shows the resulting list immediately.
  • Editable. You can refine a theme's output the same way you refine a custom prompt — just keep chatting.

The exact theme catalog and category labels are being finalized. Confirm with the product team before listing specific theme names.

3. Saving and sharing​

Once you're happy with a screen, you can save it and optionally share it.

  • Save to your account. The result list is preserved with a stable URL so you can re-open the same screen later.
  • Publish to Community Screener Plaza. Opt in to make your screen public; it appears in the Popular Screeners rail on /community-screener-plaza so other Alphio users can discover and run it.
  • Attribution. Public screens carry your display name. You can unpublish at any time.

4. Public lists​

Community Screener Plaza is a hub of community-shared screens.

  • Popular Screeners. Top trending screens with their question text, three top candidate tickers, and a few of their criteria as chips.
  • Open a public screen. Click any card to open /community-screener-plaza/:name and run it against current data.
  • Browse by category. A category rail lets you narrow by theme (growth, value, income, technical, AI, etc.).
  • FAQ. A short FAQ on the index covers data freshness, how rankings are computed, and how to report a problematic screen.

Public screens are read-only — to customise one, run it and then continue iterating in chat to fork it into your own version.
