Subscription and Credits
Alphio uses 4 subscription tiers (Free / Base / Pro / Elite) plus a Credits system for AI usage.

1. Subscription tiers (intro)
Alphio has 4 tiers. Higher tiers unlock more research, more advanced Strategy products, larger monthly Credits grants, and faster Alphio AI models.

| Free | Try Alphio AI, chat, and basic research. |
| Base | Day-to-day use for casual traders — more chat capacity and access to common Signals products. |
| Pro | Active traders — full Agentic Trading, Auto Trade, and the majority of Signals products. |
| Elite | Power users and high-volume traders — highest Credits grant, all Signals products, premium support. |
The full entitlement matrix (per-tier Credits grants, model speed, Signals product gating, market access) is being finalized by the product team and will live at /reference/subscription-tiers in Phase 2. Confirm specific entitlements with the product team before relying on them.
2. Credits intro
Credits are Alphio's usage currency for AI calls — chat turns, research runs, AI Tasks, screeners, and Agentic Trading planning. They come in three types:
- Monthly Credits — granted on each billing cycle by your subscription tier. Lost if unused at the end of the cycle (no rollover).
- Recharge Credits — bought à la carte via the Top-Up Credits page (also called Custom Credits). Roll over indefinitely.
- Limited-time Credits — granted via promo, referral rewards, surveys, or check-ins. Expire on a fixed date set when granted.
Deduction order (always): Limited-time → Monthly → Recharge.
That order is designed to consume expiring Credits first, then your monthly grant, and only finally the long-lived Recharge balance.
3. Where to manage
- Manage your subscription —
/account/subscription. View current tier, change tier, see next billing date, cancel. - Top up Credits —
/top-up-credits. Purchase Recharge Credits in fixed bundles or a custom amount.
Both pages show your current Credits balance broken down by type.
4. Earning extra Credits
Beyond buying, you can earn Credits via the Rewards system:
- Daily Check-In streaks
- Referral commissions
- Quest Center milestones
- Survey Rewards
- Trade & Earn
