Research and Analysis FAQ
Answers to the most common questions about Alphio AI's research output, data sourcing, citations, and predictions.
How accurate is Alphio AI's research? Alphio AI blends real-time market data with AI analysis to produce its research output. Accuracy varies by asset class, time horizon, and data availability:
- Short-horizon factual data (price, volume, fundamentals) reflects the latest snapshot from upstream providers.
- Forward-looking analysis (forecasts, scenarios, narrative interpretation) is probabilistic — treat it as one input, not a verdict.
- Always cross-check critical decisions against multiple sources before acting, especially for size positions or illiquid assets.
Why does the answer cite no sources sometimes? For cached or pre-computed responses, the full source list may not surface inline. This is a presentation issue, not a missing-data issue.
- Ask Alphio AI explicitly: "show me the sources" or "cite the data behind this".
- The follow-up turn will expand the underlying citations.
Stock data looks wrong — where does it come from?
The exact data provider identity for stock fundamentals and quotes is still being finalized for public documentation. Alphio aggregates from multiple upstream providers and selects the best available source per field.
If a specific data point looks wrong:
- Note the ticker, field, value shown, and value expected.
- Report via Settings →
/account/feedbackwith a screenshot. - The data team triages provider mismatches weekly.
How much does deep research cost in Credits?
Exact per-task Credit costs for deep research are being finalized and may change before GA. Cost varies by research depth, number of sources accessed, and downstream tool calls made by Alphio AI during the task.
A confirmation step shows the estimated Credit cost before any deep research task starts, so you can cancel if it's higher than expected.
Can I export research results? Today, research results live in-chat only. You can:
- Copy any message body to clipboard.
- Share to Telegram via the share action on each Alphio AI reply (requires Telegram Bind).
Export to PDF / Markdown is planned but not yet shipped. The exact release timing is being finalized.
Earnings predictions seem off for my stock. Earnings predictions from Alphio AI are probabilistic — they describe a distribution of likely outcomes, not a single guaranteed number. Historical accuracy statistics (hit rate, mean absolute error, surprise calibration) are published on the AI Earnings Calendar page — see /research/ai-earnings-calendar for the methodology and per-ticker stats. Use the historical accuracy view to calibrate how much weight to give a given prediction.
