Rewards and Referral FAQ
Common questions about Alphio's reward mechanisms and the Referral program.
I don't see Check-In / Quest Center / Leaderboard in my sidebar. All reward surfaces are feature-flag gated and visibility varies by account:
- Some entries roll out region by region or tier by tier.
- New accounts may need to complete onboarding before the rewards section appears.
- Some entries only show during an active campaign window.
If a friend can see something you can't, that's expected — the flag may not be enabled for your account yet. There's nothing to "turn on" from your side.
My referral didn't credit when my friend signed up. Referrals only credit when the full attribution chain holds end-to-end:
- Your friend must have used your referral link or entered your referral code at signup — applying it after the fact does not retro-credit.
- Their account must complete the qualifying action defined for the campaign (e.g. first deposit, first trade). Just signing up may not be enough.
- One person, one referrer — if they previously clicked someone else's link first, that attribution may have won.
Open Rewards → Referral → History to see exactly what state your friend's referral is in. If it shows "qualified" but no Credits arrived after 24 hours, contact support with their account email.
When do referral commissions pay out? Referral commission accrues continuously as your invitee uses Alphio (subscription payments, certain trade fees), and pays out on a scheduled cycle to your commission balance.
- Accrual is visible in near-real-time under Rewards → Referral → Commission.
- The payout into your withdrawable balance happens on the cycle's settlement date.
- The cycle length and the qualifying actions can change per campaign — see the active campaign's terms on the Referral page.
How do I withdraw referral commissions to cash?
Withdrawal of referral commission to cash depends on the payout rail the active referral campaign offers, and may differ from regular wallet withdrawals. Some campaigns pay out only as Credits (not withdrawable to cash); others pay as USDC to a bound wallet.
Check the active campaign's terms on the Referral page for the current rail. If a cash-out rail isn't listed there, it isn't available right now.
I completed a quest but no Credits arrived. Quests have delayed settlement by design — completion is verified before Credits are granted.
- Open Quest Center and verify the quest shows "completed" (not "in progress" or "claim pending").
- If it's "claim pending", click Claim explicitly — some quests don't auto-deliver.
- Settlement can take up to a few hours for quests that require external verification (e.g. a confirmed deposit on-chain).
- If it shows "completed" with no Credits delivered after 24 hours, contact support with the quest name.
Can I refer myself with a second account?
No. Self-referral with a secondary account is treated as abuse and disqualifies the referral. Detection is automated and looks at signup metadata (IP, device fingerprint, payment method, KYC overlap). Disqualified referrals do not pay out and may result in account action on both sides.
If you have a legitimate reason for a second account (e.g. a separate business entity), contact support before creating it — referral is not the right mechanism.
Why did my Leaderboard position change overnight? Leaderboards re-rank on a fixed cadence using finalized activity for the period:
- Trade-volume leaderboards use confirmed fills only; cancelled / rolled-back orders are excluded after settlement.
- Some leaderboards apply anti-wash filters between snapshots, removing self-matched volume.
- Period boundaries (daily / weekly / season) reset the ranking entirely.
Position changes overnight almost always come from one of: (a) end-of-day settlement removing unsettled activity, (b) other users posting larger activity, or (c) a period reset.
